The Gefuehlsmonster cards are distributed across the floor. Every person walks around, looks at the cards and searches for the one that most likely resembles his/her own emotional state. Everybody does this while moving around – looking at all the cards makes it easy to recognize one’s own feelings. This all happens quite intuitively – the picture directly speaks to one’s sentiment, and by excluding all the cards that don’t “respond,” the process becomes a fast and easy task.
It is possible to split large groups into smaller ones and ask them to talk about the meanings of these cards, ultimately finding one common definition that suits the situation.
