Self-Management

The upcoming project is giving you a headache and you do not have time to seek out professional support or coaching?

The Gefühlsmonster scan enables you to clarify within a short time which feelings you have towards a particular project. Based on the Gefühlsmonsters you have chosen you can then more easily find strategies for managing your headaches.

The Gefühlsmonster cards help you reflect upon yourself in your private and professional context. The cards are your own life coach in your pocket. With them you can quickly find out how you are feeling with regard to a particular situation and your next steps will become clearer. At the end of this exercise or whenever you need it, it can be helpful to choose a card that makes you feel good in that particular moment.

Example: This is how it works

A doctor from Berlin writes: “Consultation hours in a family doctor’s practice – sometimes there are stressfull times: the door is unlocked and patients stream into the practice. It can then happen that 15 patients are on my waiting list at the same time. Sometimes it’s not easy to stay calm and relaxed. – Who helps me is my little hammock monster5, which clips onto a small stand and is placed directly in front of my screen. When I look at the monster, I am reminded that I can always tank up on calmness to adjust to each new patient.
Sometimes, when the nurses know in advance that this will be a difficult day in the practice, they take this “Mönsterli” out of the drawer and put it on my desk!

When one of my colleagues is on holiday and I have to do the work alone instead of with two of them, I need even more active support. Then it is not only the calmness that I need, but sometimes I have the feeling: I can’t cope with that, so much! Those are the days when I get my “Monsterli with the medal and the sunglasses” Monsterdatei-A6-2017-abgerundet-MUSTER-grosse-Schrift-v2-3

He keeps his thumbs up and tells me: “You’ve got it – you’ve got it, you can do it”!! I’ll rock the day with his help!”
